Microsoft Azure Stack - Cisco Options

Happy Monday Spiceheads!!!

I'm looking to share more about areas Cisco is working on that are not typically associated with Cisco.

What if you could access Microsoft Azure services to cloud-enable your legacy applications and manage data that cannot leave your data center, even in environments that cannot access the Internet? Cisco provides a solution.

Its called Cisco Integrated System for Microsoft Azure Stack.

Attached is a data sheet with more detail.

Have an awesome week,

Protect Office365 With Cisco's Threat Analyzer Tool

The Cisco Threat Analyzer for Office 365 is a free assessment that quickly detects security gaps in Office 365 email. The API-based tool is easy to deploy and provides a report with malware, malicious links, spam and graymail found that could pose a threat to your organization.

After Exchange Online Protection (EOP) runs and removes emails - Cisco scans only the emails that make it to the inbox and at the end. Then they give customers a report that shows what they caught. 1 page report showing spam, malware, malicious links.

Thanks for bringing this up! In order to access the tool, we'll need to connect you with someone at Cisco or one of their partners. Would you like me to help with that? :)

    Hey Rachel,

Yeah that would be great, it feels like it's in some beta state with all the glitches I'm running into. the documentation is unusually sparse.

Cisco Jabba and Active Directory Contact

Hi All,

I'm trying to tidy up my companies Active Directory,

We currently have to many users on looking into this most of these are really contacts, but by making them contacts we then can not  see them in Jabba.

is there any way of Jabba being able to synchronise 'Acitve Directory Contacts" as well as users?

Many Thanks

Cisco Stealthwatch and DNA Center bridge the SecOps – NetOps divide

Hey SpiceHeads, I wanted to share a recent blog from Cisco! With threats evolving every day, it's important to always be up to date and evolving your network security at the same pace.

"By sheer necessity, there is an increasingly interdependent role between NetOps and SecOps in many enterprises. Cisco has been monitoring three trends:

Networks are connecting ever more devices, locations and users. The complexity of managing them is creating openings for new threats. As advanced threats multiply, organizations need to control the cost of containment by automating and extending visibility across different functions. And as threats become more advanced, they are becoming an inhibitor to network assurance. For example, instead of breaking in, attackers simply hide in encrypted traffic to gain access to the network.

In short, SecOps needs immediate access to security telemetry to get visibility from all the new endpoints being added to the network, and NetOps needs to know about threats that could impact uptime, particularly encrypted threats.

These are some of the challenges that led to the integration of Cisco DNA Center and Cisco Stealthwatch."
