Just a quick update. We are aware of the issue where going directly to a group / forum is giving an Application Error. This looks to be related to using the sort filters on a group (which is why not everyone will have the issue). We are looking into this and hope to have it resolved soon.

Just in case others missed that.

I've noticed something strange, I was only 24 points away from leveling up and now it says 194 points away. I've lost 170 points! If I refresh the community homepage, the banner with the points keeps going back and forth on how many points I have. If I go into my points page it says 194 points till the next level and the graph shows the drop.

Hi Josh, thanks for pointing this out! We had another SpiceHead inform us that he leveled up but, in topics, he was seeing his old level for a bit. Might be a caching issue, but the team is looking into it.

If anyone sees anything wonky (sorry for the technical terminology), please let us know.

Good job team.

I did notice when I did the Daily Challenge Question today, that if I click on See My Stats, the calendar that shows my progress through the month seems off centred now.

HD IT Solutions is an IT service provider.

They never expect the Spanish Inquisition

Also, getting rid of cookies so it takes me back to the default sort filter fixes the application error for now (for me, anyway. YMMV)

We've had a few SpiceHeads point out that they are getting some transactional emails much later than normal. That may be resolved now; we had a lot enqueued but that seems to have drained down and is consistent with what most SpiceHeads have said (that since around 9:30 AM CT, they've been getting them like normal again. That said, something we'll keep our eyes on.

You all may have noticed that we're having some issues with the Community right now. We'll be taking Spiceworks down for an additional one-hour maintenance at 11:30 AM CT.

Once again, this will affect anything that connects to the overall Spiceworks service: Community, Cloud Help Desk, tools, and if you're using an older version of on-prem, make sure to check out Ben.B (Spiceworks)'s post that covers this more.

Sounds like Spiceworks hired Microsoft's update group.  Patch one thing, break 5 others.  :)

Edit: In case anybody else got offended...I was kidding.  The Spiceworks team does a great job.

Well, we moved the entire Community over to a new host. :p As Sean mentioned, it's pretty monolithic, so there's a lot that could potentially go wrong. I'm proud of the team! I expected much more firefighting today.

You all probably already know this (since you're reading this) but we've finished with maintenance and we're live again!

That's really unfair to our Ops and Engineering teams. This was not moving a file server. This was moving not only to a new provider, but also completely replacing the application services platform.

We're currently aware of an issue with feed cards and transactional (subscription) emails being duplicated/triplicated/etc. We're having some issues with our background jobs that the team is currently troubleshooting. Sorry for the spam, and we appreciate your patience in dealing with this. :]

Just to be clear, this is a separate issue and one not introduced based on us moving to a new service platform.
