So I have been tasked with finding an MDM solution for our mobile fleet and creating a survey for the users to find out who is eligible for an upgrade, So basically if anyone has any ideas for a couple questions I could ask (I feel like all the users are just gonna say they need a new one anyway so I am trying to filter that out) or a good MDM solution all the devices are Samsung mobiles and tablets and we have one google pixel mobile.
Thanks for your input
I'm in the midst of this at the moment. I audited what everyone had, had a budget to deal with, got in costs for types of phone to put in front of my boss and ended up getting everything slashed and it's now on a "when required" basis which is a pain.
Do you have a budget to work from or a suggested make/model that you will replace with? If it's just a single step up, probably not worth it.
I'd suggest you do the leg work rather than allow users to start input at this stage. What do they use the devices for? Is it just for flash or is there a genuine work purpose?
Yeah I am working within a budget but have been told that I can go over. The suggested phones I am told to look at are Samsung S7 to S9 we have a lot of S2 and S5 still and we have requests for 6 new phones for new users.
There are a few on the road sales people that genuinely use them and a couple managers that just want to use it for e-mail at home and not much else and one design employee that will just use it to update our social media, mostly I suspect it is all for title and flash and having to not buy a personal phone and this is why I sought of thought maybe a survey to try weed these people out
